Bridging the Forth

Today we went for a walk over the Forth Road Bridge. I have driven over the road bridge often but today was the first time I have been a foot passenger.
As the bridge is a suspension bridge it was difficult to keep the camera steady at times as cars were zooming past and I could feel the movement!
To the left of the picture is the much more interesting and much older Forth Rail Bridge, which, I am ashamed to say I have never been over in a train. That's a blip for another day!
Another blip for another day will be the new Road Bridge 'Queensferry Crossing' which opens in 2016, and is under construction at present.
