Every Picture Tells A Story!
A Blip casualty?
Not the dog
Me!
A really beautiful day up here today. Bright sunshine, a blue sky and a gentle breeze.
Before going into the shop, I went along to Banff beach to take some shots - gulls, rocks, waves. You get the picture.
Rather busy in the shop. Unusual for a Monday morning.
I thought I would pop in past Tarlair beach on the way back just in case!
Anyway, there was a couple there with a dog, a lovely collie Jen, and I had a short chat with them before taking my leave.
(Are you still awake.)
More photos of rocks, wagtails, waves etc before making my way back to my car.
The couple were still there with their dog Jen.
And then it hit me. This would be my chance to take a photo like Molly the Gorgeous Collie.
I asked the couple if I could take Jen's picture and of course they agreed.
I asked if Jen would come with me onto the beach so I could take her photo against the stunning blue sea.
Well, Jen wasn't willing to leave her owner so the lady, whose husband was 88, came down to the sand/rocks with me and Jen.
I was a bit concerned that she might slip on the rocks.
She didn't.
I did!
I was looking back to make sure they were okay when I tripped/slipped on a rock.
I'm sure you've all seen the comedy falls where the victim slips and starts waving their arms about before finally hitting the deck.
That was me.
I thought I could just about keep my balance but no.
Clutching my camera, I fell flat on my face.
I lay there for a while waiting to feel the pains.
I stumbled to my feet; checked my camera, it seemed okay; checked myself, and apart from a little graze to my nose and a bumped elbow, okay, I think.
Trying to look as casual as possible, I asked the lady if it was still alright to take Jen's photo and here it is.
It has to be this song by The Bluebells.
And I lost my camera lens cover!
