Bar code

Amid some noisy and vigorous mating
This lone frog
Takes a break
And regrets the bar code
Which bans post-coital smoking.

Yet another back blip. Almost exactly two years ago I witnessed frenzy but there were fewer involved yesterday. The first spawn has appeared. Plenty of newts, too. A great day's gardening and pond watching.

Apologies for not keeping up with journals - it's been a funny week or so and I've found it difficult to find time for blipping, let alone commenting. Hope that changes soon.
