Mephitic = Foul smelling

I called by the local duckpond on my home late this afternoon, I had been out with my Daughter most of the day, her and Cobey her hubby fly out to Melbourne for a few days this Thursday, Sara had a few things to catch up on so it was nice just to hang out with her today, the day went all too quick and nothing poisonous or foul smelling came my way, we had a lovely day.
Having said that here at the duckpond after a long hot summer the pond is looking particularly bad and it had a distinct smell to it, the ducks are as happy as ducks are on water, this one was just winging it's way in! I wouldn't want to fall in!
