Peacock

Some years ago, peacocks must have escaped from someone's private collection, as there are several roaming our neighbourhood now. Recently we'd been hearing a male call (once you've heard it, you won't mistake it ever again) and then it popped by our street for a visit, bringing all the neighbours out with our cameras.

White peafowl are not as uncommon as you may think, and this is at least the second one we know of in our suburb.
