River of moss

Well this is the rock it was built on...the castle that is. This ancient volcanic rock has become home to an interesting assortment of low lying plants. I like this image, I thought it could be a good basis for an abstract painting. It had been drizzling all afternoon with low dismal clouds, a Sunday where you just want to stay at home with some tea and a good book. At least the soft light makes something like green moss look more vibrant, one good thing about a rainy day.
