Rockefeller center

Today we went to the 'top of the rock' and found it much more camera friendly than the empire state building.

The building was built in the great depression by John D Rockefeller jnr. There is a well known photo of some of the work men sitting on a steel beam on their lunch break at the top of the rock during its construction.

The center spans 3 blocks and varies in height and includes an open air Ice rink.
