Mill At Brill

As it was such an amazing day with the promise of temperatures up to 18*c and a clear blue sky, we decided to explore areas that are unknown to us but reasonably close.


What a surprise we got as we drove through some gorgeous villages and countryside. We even needed the windows down it was so warm!! It's going to continue in the same vein for the next few days. Yippee :-)


We came across this lovely windmill in a village called Brill. It is a 'post mill' which means that in days-gone-by it was able to swivel to catch the wind, though these days a framework has been built around it and it's no longer in working order. A really enjoyable day out was had by all! Bramble is exhausted as she stayed awake all day!
