Today was one of those grey, drizzlely days best spent indoors. I was just astonished that not everyone else had the same idea and had no problems finding a parking spot in our shopping centre of choice. It was good giving the kids a whirl at another softplay for a change.
Before that our kids were being shown how to do CPR by some medical students who were looking for donations for their volunteering trips to Africa; one of whom posed for this shot. Our daughter got the right general technique but our little boy preferred the relatively untried medical procedure of "patting the patient on his tummy". Incidently, I only found out recently that applying CPR is not like in the movies, where a few pumps and the hero suddenly leaps back to life to save the civilized world. Instead it's a procedure that can take over 45 minutes before giving up. I can see why that wouldn't have survived the movie editors.
