A bit of a joke......

I blipped these supposed narcissi bulbs at the beginning of February, when they looked like they were growing well.

More than a month on, and look at them. Lovely green leaves...... not a sign of a flower. The HG says they are 'blind' bulbs...... all I know is that they are like beanstalks, just waiting for Jack to climb them. I wonder how tall they will grow?

Pleasant Sunday, a christening at church, great grandchild of an old lady who was my church elder at one time but is very frail now..... it was good to see her in church today. After lunch and a read at the papers, made some mushroom soup to take down to C as we were having dinner at her house. Had a nice dinner and chat. Happy day!
