Corsican hellebore

Helleborus argutifolius
Gives several months of flowers every year and seeds freely. I suspect some of the offspring are hybrids as there are other varieties nearby.
I had some pics of the details of some of the flowers but this gives a better idea of the plant - though this is just a fraction of the flowers on the stem.
P.S. discovered a group of the walkers did attempt the planned walk yesterday but were defeated by a deep river
