Green Heron

Another glorious day, we are blessed. On our walk to the beach, we pass a swamp/canal of sorts on either side of the road. Actually I'm not sure what you would call it. But it's filled with water and covered with algae. Spotted this Green Heron acting like it was sleeping on the branch but probably waiting for something tasty in the green algae. Be sure to take a look up close at its' eye.
