Choo choos

Train day today.
Beautiful weather, warm and sunny and really spring like. Decided on a late brunch made up of all the things we variously fancied, so we ended up with bacon rolls, fruit platter, sour cherry and almond biscuits, scones and jane and clotted cream (I know-random!) then a walk down the back path to the railway line and back, enjoying chat about the old days, daffodils, sunshine, blossom and word games.
Then back and jumped in the car to catch the train on a busier line for my 5 hour journey home. All very comfy and quiet, but virgin's complimentary refreshments on a Sunday look very measly in comparison to what's available on east coast....
Still, can't complain, I've eaten way too much this weekend anyway and had a very relaxing time with everyone
