A Stratford on Avon Canal

After the excitement of yesterday's wedding of son #2 today has been a day of departures and farewell hugs. At lunchtime 16 of us had a delightful family meal in Stratford to celebrate the 60th birthday of my wife's brothers ( twins) and after they had all departed we checked into a Premier Inn beside this canal - we cannot believe how fortunate we have been with the weather this weekend and have just had a leisurely walk along the canal path returning as the sun was beginning to set.
Another lovely day - just the drive back to Scotland to look forward to tomorrow!
