Walk over Park of Keir

This afternoon we had a great walk around Park of Keir.

Thanks to a new railway bridge and road leading from the Park of Keir roundabout the area is now easily accessible for walkers.

But all this could soon change if Judy Murray’s plans for a tennis academy financed by a 100 executive houses gets the go-ahead.


Needless to say we – Friends of Park of Keir- will be launching stringent objections when the plans come before Stirling Council.

This was the first time we have had a chance to see the new railway bridge, which has been raised by nine inches to allow for electrification of the line between central Scotland and Inverness.
