Flying a Kite

We have had a gorgeous spring day today and after a successful morning taking my youngest to a dressage competition we went for a family lunch to celebrate how well he did...coming 1st in a field of one is still a success!

We are lucky enough to live in an area where Red Kites breed and on our walk up the hill behind the house this evening they were out in numbers (well 6). I have never been able to capture anything more than a fuzzy dot previously and whilst I am aware there are limitations in the quality of this one, I was just pleased to be able to finally achieve my aim.
