Life in a Northern Town

Treasure

We have been to the seaside.

As it was Southport, we didn't actually see the sea (the tide comes in for about 30 seconds twice a year), but we had fun on the vast expanse of beach - faffing about with the camera, collecting shells and running away at full pelt to frolic with a rottweiler.

I wonder if you can guess which was me, which was Sarah and which was Lizzie?

The shells were amazing, despite growing up shell hunting on Cornish beaches I have never seen such an impressive array. So if you want to see Southport, look here. Otherwise, here are our spoils. I tone mapped it and like the way the textures have been accentuated. I apologise if you hate the effect.
