I'll have what he's having!
What a glorious day! Wall-to-wall blue skies, not a trace of cloud or wind. The thermometer said 13 degrees but it felt much warmer. I thought to myself should I do some painting today? and almost deafened myself with the resounding NO!. I went up onto my patch where the birds were singing as if their lives depended on it. In particular, lots of skylarks were claiming their territory with that amazing flight and seemingly endless insistent and joyous song. They aren't the easiest birds to even spot in the sky, let alone photograph, but I was certainly going to try my best - after all, they weren't stinting on effort.
I saw 5 butterflies too - 4 Peacocks and a Small Tortoiseshell
