We went to Llandow Race Track this morning, which is where J goes to meet with fellow biker buddies. I went along and had a great welcome from the"boys " I have met a lot of them when they have called at our house, but today i was one of the boys, so to speak. The track has a cafe ,and it was really busy today due to the brilliant weather. There were hundreds of cyclists there and they were racing around one of the tracks. We had been there about an hour, when about one hundred tractors arrived. They had organized a rally to raise money for the West Country Farmers Flood Appeal which is a great cause. It was a wonderful sight to see tractors, of all ages, shapes and colours.
This 1957, Austin A35 pick-up, is owned by a friend of J's and is immaculate. It was a great morning and i thoroughly enjoyed it. We have just got home and it's now time for the Wales/ England match. Very tense here indeed.
