Devron

Sunset on the River Devron just down the path from the hotel we were staying at. This was taken by my dearest who was on one of her wanders. Earlier we had been to Dufftown to have lunch but was amazed to find the whole village was shut. It reminds you how much these places rely on tourism to make their way, so much so that even the Glenfiddich Distilery was deserted.

The Castle Hotel in Huntly where we are staying in tranquil to say the least and is just the sort of place where one can go to get a good break away. As always though these breaks are never long enough.
