Project Garden 2014

Having moved into a new house in mid 2013, the garden was turfed onto the local clay by the builders. The recent rain means that the turf is sodden and nothing drains through. One of the plants put out in July has been waterlogged as a result of stting in water and has rotted away.

As a result raised beds are being built. In the back corner for fruit bushes and down the right side vegetables. Later in the year the left side will be developed for bulbs, shurbs and bedding plants.

This is the starting point.
