Roast Beef for Breakfast!

We made a New Years Resolution not to waste any food if at all possible. Well a couple of nights ago we had Slow Cooked Roast Beef for dinner and after a couple of days there were some odd bits left with also meat crumbs. As there wasn't enough for a sandwich, I put it on the wire tray at the feeding station, thinking some bird might like it. Well they do eat worms, so it sounded like a good idea! Needless to say, the Blackbirds loved it. So here is a photo of Mr Blackbird having Roast Beef for Breakfast! Visitors to the Restaurant yesterday and today, a dozen Siskins, 3 Robins, 6 Blackbirds, 3 Blue Tits, 4 Great Tits, 4 Coal Tits and low and behold a Red Kite!. I didn't have my camera ready unfortunately, first time ever! Maybe another day if I can entice him back, I will probably have to go and get some Road Kill for it, as that is their favourite food being Carrion Eaters!
