Whiteout

This was the road, taken from the bus as we drove back to Reykjavik from Hali. The only really grubby day we had; at one point, the road was closed and we had to hang around to wait until the snowploughs had been thorough. Part of it stayed closed, so we had to take a detour round the mountain instead of driving over it.

Yes, I know you can't actually see the road. You have to orient yourself by those yellow markers you can only just see. 'Twas an interesting drive, glad I wasn't at the wheel!
