morning light
performs a ballet
tribute to the earth

flowers, blossom, petals
frolic, sway, skip
fly, dive, land
like bees collecting nectar

each moment
a changing scene
as iridescent shadows
chase each other

all too soon the ballet
reaches its finale
dawn chorus ends
morning meditation over
