Swimming With Bernie....

...The Beluga
(another of the dashboard series...only this wasn't taken on the dashboard).

Bernie the Beluga Whale invited me to join him in a rather unusual and confronting expedition today.
He told me that he came from the stars and when he flipped his tail all the phosphorescence swirled around us like stars...truly I felt like I was floating in space. He told me that it reminded him of his home.
We managed to get quite a few shots off and still in the embrace of euphoria floating around in the sparkly loveliness he told me several wonderful stories of the deep ocean....he really is quite the storyteller.
The confrontation arrived in the shape of a really large shark...I nearly swallowed my teeth I was so scared He had a very toothy grin...however luckily for me him and Bernie were great friends...in fact would you believe I got a lift back to shore holding onto his fin.
I thought that a very marvelous experience in the end.

OK! I haven't left the house again all day (poor Rumi not the poet)...would you believe that the household has come down with a wicked lurgy .....AGAIN.
I guess that's what you get for living with a 3 year old.

What I am going to post next is for your entertainment.. My friend sent this to me today. Its a bit long but worth the read for a good laugh.......laughing is such a wonderful medicine.
