Still flowering

Working from home today and just went to the window only to see that the light's fading already. They don't last long, these November days.

I was struck by the fact that in spite of the lack of light a couple of the plants on the windowsill are flowering gamely on - a couple of streptocarpuses (streptocarpi?) and the dear daft pink perlagonium that has scarcely stopped flowering since Lynn gave me a cutting about fifteen years ago.
