Todays visitors to Rodney Parade were Neath. Neath have a long history of quality rugby, but this year is a completely different story and find them selves near the foot of the table. With Newport having won last week but playing inconsistent, it looked like it would be a good game.

Newport Started the game the way we finished it, in control. It was great to see some fab rugby on a sunny day (that made a change) Newport ran in 2 tries, both by Owen Broad but should of scored a few more. But 4 points is a great result. Final score, Newport 20 Neath 3
