Roa

A few of Roa's paintings have popped up around London recently, I'd seen pictures of them before but I didn't really appreciate how huge they were (and I had assumed they were pasted up rather than spraypainted freehand).

On a complete tangent, I can never quite shake the association in my head that Club Row is a "bad" place, having long-standing memories of it as the site of a weekly pet market which was notorious for the poor treatment of the animals on sale (it closed down in 1982 but it still pushes my angry button!).
