Hymn to Freedom

I learned to play the piano tolerably well badly when young, and encouraged both kids to learn it too. And Chris, now a very mature adult, has bought a piano for his house and is working on quite a tricky piece.

So after about 40 years of totally neglecting these skills I have decided to try to get them back. The music is for Oscar Peterson's Hymn to Freedom: a piece I enjoy and the arrangement should not be too taxing. Arthritis is often not a problem for playing the keyboard. But I am having to work to span a full octave, and I used to be able to get a couple of extra notes as well. And jumping up and down in pitch should not be too difficult; but I have lost the touch. I have a lot of work to do, but I am confident I will get there.

Chris please note: we in in a race. But so far I have not ventured beyond Page 1 and there are 4 more pages after this one!
