Social life

A pattern is emerging. I go away for a day and when I return, Audrey acts up. At first I thought it was me. And that Audrey was playing up as a result of something I was doing. But today I think (with the help of my Mum) that I have finally figured it out. She acts up because I left her and she's unsettled the next day.

Or it's something I'm doing!!!

It was a horrible start to the day. She kept throwing little tantrums - a new one involving banging her head against the kitchen floor, but then not letting me comfort her when it inevitably hurt. Angus had a random morning off so he took her upstairs with him in the end, just to give me a break.

We met up with Laura and Sam at MOSI mid-morning and Audrey seemed to enjoy that at least, followed by lunch at All Stars.

She had a late nap which meant I had to wake her so she didn't sleep late and she was even worse this afternoon as a result. I took her out in the pram in the end, just to try and break the spell.

Was out to tonight for my friend Jon's 40th at the Horse & Jockey (had a lovely Thai meal and catch up with my sister first on Beech Road). It was the perfect night out as it was local and relaxed.

My third night out this week. Hey hold on, I am in danger of being a Mum with a social life here!!!
