The Great Pretender

A busy day.

Brunch late morning with the expat girlies to celebrate a special birthday and a new birth. Brunch that continued on until mid afternoon.

A brief respite & dinner then a quiz night at Lulu.

But not the usual German or English pub quiz night. Oh no. This was American Womens Club quiz night with a (cough) Canadian quiz master.

All was going well(ish) until we all agreed (foolishly in retrospect) to an off the cuff music round which included questions about the Doors & Ke$ha (we got that one right).

Proper English quiz on Wednesday, the last eva at Lulu, with special rounds (so I've heard) from previous quizzies) so maybe we'll fair better then...don't hold your breath.
