Busy and thriving.....
The sun brought London very much to life today! Or even more so, and the river too was busy and thriving!
We were heading for Waterloo Station, which I love anyway, and for St Thomas's Hospital and The Florence Nightingale Museum, because Oliver and I are learning about her in history, and we listened, quizzed and pushed buttons to learn more.
Then onto the South Bank and Wagamama's for noodle lunch, a ride on the merry-go-round, a play in the playground by the London Eye and then back to the station, where Sophia had decided hot chocolate and cake was in order before the family caught their train and we headed for Charing Cross walking over Waterloo bridge....and hence my river picture.
And tomorrow we are up here again, this time to join friends on a guided walk, beginning at The Royal Exchange. I never tire of our amazing capital city!
