Dreadful

Is the one word that my eldest son used to describe today. Went to see the emergency doc at 8 am who prescribed antibiotics for his swollen tonsils. Thankfully he is feeling a bit better tonight and even managed a couple of spoonfuls of yoghurt.

The hellebores are the only signs of spring in our garden. Having said that, we don't have many plants at all, only what I've pinched over the past few years from my parents' garden. In fact these hellebores were a cutting from my parents' friends' garden!!
