Happy (It's A Boy!) Birthday!

Threw a little surprise brunch party today for an expat friend who turned 40 this week - and delivered a beautiful little boy, her third child, just a couple weeks ago.

She's already in stunning shape again. But I shouldn't be surprised, she taught yoga classes regularly up through Christmas. I took classes from her until I started my full-time job in summer. Since then, I don't get to see her nearly often enough. This blip with her was taken just shortly before she learned she was expecting. So it was really lovely to have her family over today and enjoy a fun afternoon together. And fabulous to hold a precious little infant again :)
