Rome, Italy
I'd say that this very day.... the 2nd of June was one of the busiest of the trip. We started off in Milan, had to evade the Italian hotel owners, took a train to Florence, just to find out that we'd be waiting in line all day if we wanted to see anything. There were tourists everywhere, so we almost immediately went back to the train station to catch the next train to Rome. There's no wasting time in this trip, so we had to keep moving. We stayed at this awesome campsite on the outskirts of Rome, and had a really good night. We ate pizza, saw the Trevi fountain and walked around a bit. We missed our bus back, so Joe, me, a german girl from Frankfurt, and two boys from the midwest trekked back to our campground and faced many obstacles along the way. We faced a crazy man, prostitutes, and a problematic highway with no shoulder or sidewalks. Exciting Day!
