International Women's Day Aberdeen Heritage Walk

Today is International Women's Day and as a Soroptimist I was fortunate to take part in the Aberdeen Women's Alliance heritage walk. Mapping the memorials of women who had an important and significant contribution to the life of Aberdeen that we rarely ever hear about.

As an alumni of Aberdeen University I was delighted to find out that we were gaining access to the Grant room. The former Senate Room of Marischal College was renamed the Grant Room in memory of former University Court member Sheena Grant MBE
