Windswept and Interesting

Though not what I had intended. I decided this morning that the combination of cloud and wind would make for some decent long exposure mono images but as soon as I packed the camera bag the sun came out. In the event the wind speed at the shore was so high that LE would not have been possible unless I could have bolted the camera to a sizeable granite block as the tripod just wouldn't have coped. While taking this shot I was hanging on to railings at the end of the pier and could hardly see or breathe because of the wind. All things considered, I was quite happy to get a few 'keepers' and a whole lot of very fresh air!
