Carpet drama

Today was going so well until the carpet fitter came into the kitchen to tell us there was a problem...
The carpet had been cut too short at the warehouse and was nowhere near big enough to fit our room. My heart sank and Stephan got understandably mad. We had to go back to the shop and choose another one that they had in stock, and the kind carpet fitter (who is nothing to do with the shop or warehouse) picked it up and came back to us later.
Although the day didn't turn out as planned we did end up with a carpet and Jacob was incredibly excited by all the space; dancing and jumping and running around non stop. We will finish it properly and celebrate tomorrow.
