Photography busy day

Woke up early this morning, excited about the two shoots I had booked for today. This was my first attempt at a first birthday * Trash The Cake * shoot.
My assistant arrived at 9.15am, we did the final preparations to the room. Last night hubby put up a wooden floor for me - so much better than the white cloth flooring I had on the floor before.
My first client arrived at 9.30am. Her little one had been ill the last two weeks, and she is a Princess, doesn't like getting her hands dirty...so she didn't get to trash the cake, no matter how hard I tried. I put her dummy in the cake, squashed her hands and feet in the cake, which only got her upset...but we did manage to get some lovely photo's of her.

The 2nd model arrived and just went straight into character. She smiled, she ate the icing, which was made from fresh strawberries and quark...no sugar...she was stunning to capture. I loved every minute of the very two different shoots.

This afternoon the weather was stunning so sat outdoors for about half an hour and got back to editing.

Tonight we had a braai ( BBQ ) for dinner. After this going to veg on the couch with hubby...
