First ride of Spring

That is what today's CTC club ride felt like. It was glorious and the villages looked so pretty with the daffodils blowing in the sunshine. We went to a cafe that we have only ever used once before and I don't think we will be using again. I politely asked what cake the lady had - don't know not had chance to look yet - was her reply. The group of us were split over 2 tables and we had had ours, ate and drank it before the other table had even ordered. Eventually they were brought large pots of tea, when they asked for cups, they were told they were being washed up because they had been so busy. Not one apology or even much politeness. You would have thought they would like the 10 extra customers this morning! Made us all laugh how Fawlty Towers it was!
