Longterm knitting

This is the first scarf I started to work on when I picked up knitting in 2011. I put it down, picked it up again, finished a PhD thesis, moved to Amsterdam, knitted something else, packed my house and moved country in the meantime, but here it still is. An Ocean apart from where I started it. One last ball of yarn to go and it is finally done. And I can knit some new things without feeling guilty about this one :)
