Wild cherry blossom

Several years ago I got the chance to buy an acre of potato field next to our garden when a local land agent was selling up. We planted a country hedge around it, and are slowly encouraging it to naturalise.

The white blossom of the wild cherry is one of my favourite signs of spring.
