Beth....

With chard
This is my very lovely friend Beth- we met forty years ago when I went to be her apprentice after Art College. She has been my surrogate sister ever since. We have worked really hard today here at West Dean, mixing a colour palette from white, raw umbre and blue/black and painting gourds and veggies. I thought this chard matched her hair.
We are both cream crackered and now looking forward to supper.
