Our Lane

Yesterday I spent a while replacing the soil on our front garden, where people have driven over our lawn, pushing the soil out onto the lane. I also started to cut back a small parking area in front of our gates, but behind our fence. The overall effect was to make things look a bit tidier. Today a group of people turned up to tidy up the hedgerow and corner opposite, which has become quite overgrown and which formed part of the tidying work on the railway station opposite the corner. I had no knowledge of this when I did my work yesterday, but the combined result can be seen in this picture; looking much better than previously.
