Scots mile

There are some new walks open on the Haddo Estate through the Craigie Woods.
This is a photo of the Scots Mile which is an old measurement of 1984 yards.
The mile at Haddo runs from the Deer Statues to the back door of the house, just visible in the shot.
Another example of the Scots Mile is the Royal Mile in Edinburgh.
Very enjoyable place to stroll, the dog loved it too.
