Crumble

"Crumble it and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering." Leviticus 2:6

The picture today is of a blackberry and apple crumble that James' mum made and has been sat in our freezer since Christmas. We ate it today with some friends and it was very tasty indeed.

The Bible verse today is about an offering made to God in the Old Testament times. The whole chapter has advice about different ways you can present grains to God as an offering. Since Jesus came and died on the cross we have no longer been required to make offerings in the same way to get close to God as He is already with us. The only offering we need to make is offering our lives to God...
