Underneath the arches

We had all three kids back in the house for just a couple of hours again yesterday before Ruby headed off for a sleepover, just spoke to her on the phone and I don't think there was much sleeping - watching the repeat of the oscar ceremony and eating crisps all night by the sound of it.

So, after taking Joe over the bridge to play football, watch him and his team romp to a victory, then home I now have to drive him to sunny Dunny for his sleepover before coming back and picking Ruby and her pal up from the wilds of Humbie. Back in time for the chelsea and spurs game on the telly. The other football dads are off to watch Scotland take on the Frenchies at the egg chasing - they know better than to ask me along by now.
