Morning meeting

Went out to the park to take my oldest for cross country practice early in the morning. Some days I will take my camera and stay there until he's done. Today was my birthday so I treated myself on a picture taking spree.
I almost got attacked by the group of angry geese that's always there. I'm glad I'm not afraid and I just yell back at them. After a while they left me alone and found another target to bother.

I have no idea what these rat like things are, since I didn't grow up here in Texas and I never took the time to look it up. So if anyone can tell me the name of these little swimmers, let me know.
