Flying Home

The day started at 6.20am, when I jumped out of bed (literally) as I could see daylight through the blinds and thought we'd overslept. They'd forgotten our wake-up call!! After a 3hr transfer we were at Columbo airport.

An 11 hour flight saw us landing at Heathrow where I managed a blip foto over London, this one showing The Thames.

After collecting our bags it was another 3 hour car journey before we arrived home and not long after it was straight to bed.

I woke at 6am Saturday (8th) suffering from jet-lag but an opportunity to post the pic.

Back to the wet weather!
