A day in the Big City

Or Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Today we spend a day as tourists in our home country. The boys moved to the US when they were 9 and 5 years old, so they can't remember a lot about their life in the Netherlands. And we used to live in the southern part of the Netherlands, so Amsterdam has always been a day trip kind of city.

I could have posted plenty of pictures from today; the tulips at the flower market, Madame Tussaud, the canals, the bikes, the Febo (a Dutch fast food place), the Spui, the Dam, the Kalverstraat, etc.

But... I chose the Rijksmuseum. Why? Because it's beautiful, it has the "I love Amsterdam" sign and there was an ice skating rink as a bonus.
